Event Description

Embassy Review : Thuy, Nguyen and I arrived around 7:00am for our 8:00am interview. We arrived to an already lengthy line of people but the wait wasn't long. We showed our passports and verification of appointment and after being searched with a wand were able to go inside. We went through another security checkpoint and at that time I was asked to wait on a bench as Thuy and Nguyen proceeded. Everyone was very friendly and the process seemed to go quickly for most. 1-3 questions were asked to each person and most were approved. The interviewer spoke with Thuy and Nguyen together and separately. Nguyen was asked about five questions and Thuy 8-10. I was called 👏🏻up and asked 10 questions. All questions seemed pretty straight forward and easy to answer with the exception of the questions r/t our same gender relationship.
After I answered my final question the interviewer requested that I call my fiancé and son back to the window. Once we were all present we were congratulated and told we had been approved.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
