Event Description

Embassy Review : The morning of Jamals interview he went to the café acrossed the street for breakfast and just before 8 he went to the guard and asked where he should be. There where two lines leading up to two windows . When he reached the window they asked him his business there ,he told them he was there for a K-1 visa they said ok inside and see the other window . At the window inside he was asked for all his papers and the fee then they asked him to have a seat till his name was called the room was big about 60 or so chairs all in rows most of them already full. Hours had passed and he was afraid maybe he should be somewhere else he asked the guard and he said no there is no where else . In the room was lots of chairs and many windows in front of them they would call a name and they would go to the window there is no privacy and you can know why each one is there and what is there out come he had seen many turned away . Finally there was just him and three others one was a women who wanted to visit her son she was told sorry madam but you cant visit your son the reason where unclear but all he could think of was if his mom wanted to visit him and was told no. Then it was his turn a blonde women maybe 30 or 40 called his name and he went to her window he said for a moment she just looked at him then smiled and started to ask her questions

Where did you meet ? Online

How long have you known her ? One year and three months

Where does she live ? In Corinth New York

Where do her parents live ? They are deceased (she said oh I’m so sorry)

Why didn’t her first marriage work? They where very young when they married and he was having other girlfriends

Do you love her ? This is funny he said he told her” I cant breath” and was holding his chest “ooooooh yes I love her so much” she was laughing at him anyways

Has she been here to see you ? Yes twice once her self and then with her girls

Really do you have pictures ? Yes many
She was looking at the pictures a long time and stopped at the one where him and the girls are together. She asked him does he love the girls he told her they are the most sweet princesses he had even met all he wants is to be with his family. She told him it was his luck day and gave him the letter it scared him to begin with because it said we are unable to approve your visa at this time he was asking her what it means she said you just have to wait a few weeks for Washington to check a few things don’t worry everything is fine and he was asking again what should he tell me she said again don’t worry everything is fine. It took nine days and she called and asked to come and get his visa !!!!!

Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
