Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 31, 2015
Embassy Review : Rating is a 4 out of 5 which is pretty good. The only problem is that my fiancee forgot some paperwork at the hotel (good thing she booked right across the street.) All in all there was a lot of waiting to be done. She was one of the first there as she got in right when they opened. She was out by about 6 hours. It was a long day for her but our packet was approved. The CO looked at the packet only briefly as he had reviewed it before she was called up. He asked a few simple questions (Does your Fiancee have kids?, When was he here last?) Said, "looks good" and told her to wait for the Visa in the mail (2go). Interview was on the 25th, CEAC website updated to Issued on the 28th. She will do her CFO seminar in Cebu on the 1st, and I'm hoping to fly her on the 3rd if the Visa is in hand by the 2nd.

Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
