Comments : We are so happy to finally have been approved and have the visa! It was a long process but we know it will be well worth it. Some of the dates are missing because of a lack of communication and organization from the other end...and a serious issue with transparency! But it all worked out!

Comments : We were told the long delay in getting an interview and receiving work authorization / advanced parole was because we moved. My company moved us, but now I wish I had given the application a more stable address (such as my parents). They actually sent the work authorization / advanced parole to our old address (despite changing our address with USCIS on time). We tried to contact them, but they would not replay and the renter could not get an answer from the new inhabitants either. A friend who deals with immigration said it is very likely the kept and/or sold it. I guess these are very valuable...Luckily at our interview we mentioned needing to leave the country for a family event very soon and he stamped the passport right there! Security will hassle you but it is an official entry stamp.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
