Embassy Review :
My wife is the beneficiary and I am the petitioner. Due to work I was not able to be there with her for the interview (Petitioner does not need to be present).
Our interview was set for 7:30am and she arrived early around 6am. There were already long line awaiting to enter the US Embassy at that time. The gate was open around 7am to let those that were waiting to enter.

Upon entering the embassy she was called to Window 5, 8 and 3. Each window was designated for different purpose. The first window was to collect documents, the second was to do biometrics (fingerprint) and the third was the actual interview. The enter itself was through a glass partition where the CO was on one side and she was on the other.

The questions the CO my wife are listed below...our interview was at 7:30am and she finished around 10:30am with Visa Approval.

1) What year did your husband immigrated to the USA?

2) What language do you guys communicate in?

3) What year did you get married?

4) What does your husband do for a living?

5) Who from your husband side attended the wedding?

6) Who introduced you to your husband?

My wife was more than well equipped for the interview. She had tons and tons of documents and knew everything about me. Don't think for a split second that tons and tons of evidence alone will get you an Approved Visa. Both parties should know each another well enough to answer any question without hesitation or doubt.

It has been a long journey , but one that was truly worth it for me and my wife.

BTW...we didn't have a immigration attorney or anyone doing our paperwork. It was through one's own research and help of forum such as VisaJourney

Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
