Hello and congratulations on successfully arriving to the end of this process. I am still waiting. Would you be kindly share when did you receive interview letter, if the letter asked you to go alone or with spouse? what questions were asked from you during i-751 interview? Did they tell you after interview if you are approved or not? THANK YOU very much

I filed my I-751 on Aug 2017 and N-400 on Sept 2018. I got an interview letter on Jan 8 2019 but the letter didn't say anything about my I-751 or to come with my spouse. I had a feeling it would be a combo and went with my spouse because my case was transferred to NBC and my status also changed to case transferred and new office has Jurisdiction. And from what i read from other people on visa journey, it could mean a combo interview and it turned out to be a combo interview. I first had my civic test which i passed and 30 minutes later, an IO called my name and then my wife and I went in and then he started with the I-751. He asked my wife questions like, my parents name, where we met, where I work and addresses of where we have lived and then asked me how old my step kids were, had any parking tickets, arrested before. After that, then he started with the N-400 interview and basically reviewed my application with me to confirmed what I had put in. At the end he printed out a paper that checked 'A' that says congratulations and he also told us that he approved both cases and that I should be getting an oath ceremony notice within 3 weeks. Immediately after we left the building, I got notifications that my both case have been approved and 2 days later I got a notification that my Oath ceremony notice has been mailed and yesterday I was sworn in. Good luck.

Hi congrats once again. It's surprising we both had a combo interview on the same day and am yet to get my oath ceremony date in Indiana. My oath ceremony is still in line to be scheduled.

I guess it can depend on your local office or IO but hey, at least your both cases got approved. Just a little patience is all you need. All the best.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
