Event Description

Embassy Review : Hello everyone,

I was scheduled by NVC for interview at the Lagos consulate on May 28th 2015.

My wife arrived Lagos from the U.S. a few days to my interview date and we checked into a hotel close to the consulate on the 27th of May.

However to our total dismay and shock we received a mail in the afternoon of the 27th that the interview is on the 2nd of July.

I went to the consulate as originally scheduled in the morning with my interview letter as sent to me by NVC but was informed my name wasn't on the list.

Please can anyone explain to me why I was treated in this manner and any chance of having my interview earlier.

Hello and congratulations on successfully arriving to the end of this process. I am still waiting. Would you be kindly share when did you receive interview letter, if the letter asked you to go alone or with spouse? what questions were asked from you during i-751 interview? Did they tell you after interview if you are approved or not? THANK YOU very much

Hi, there wasn’t any request for my spouse to appear with me for i751 interview. Six questions from the 100 practice questions were asked and the test of English (reading & writing). A request was then made for my tax Return which I submitted on a later date and approved on that day. Wishing you the very best on your application!
