Comments : We tracked everything online. Every week I checked the USCIS case tracking. When I received a letter saying the case went to the nvc I started tracking online on the nvc website. I didn't wait until my fiance received his letters. I read all the stories on here and knew exactly what to do. As soon as our case left nvc, I emailed the embassy the confirmation page of the ds160 and a photocopy of his passport page. That was even before I received a letter saying the case was sent to the embassy. I knew it was sent only because I checked online. When I emailed the embassy, I received a reply email with directions on what to do next. I had already did the ds160 so I did the next step which was to schedule an interview date online. I did the scheduling and he paid the interview fee at the local bank(ncb). I picked the closest date which was about 3 days away ( June 5)! He scheduled his medical for the day before the interview. He didn't get the medical form back in time but he was told to return to the hospital June 9th after his interview to pick it up and bring it to the embassy and they will process the visa.2 days before his scheduled interview, he received the packet 3!!

I had mailed my fiance all the evidence of relationship and forms that he needed for the interview as well as all my petition document as soon as the petition was approved. While he waited for it to come, he went to apply for his police record get his passport size pics taken, and gather all of his documents.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
