Embassy Review : Night VJ Members,
i must say thank you thank you to all, for the wealth of knowledge gained on this site. Got cc on the 23rd of Oct 15th, waited until Dec 31st for nvc to schedule interview at the Jamaican consulate. medical was done on January 19,2016 Interview was held on February 2nd.
My interview was at 7am reached 6.40 am documents checked placed in immigrant line. docs checked were passport, confimation page of DS160,2Passport pics, appointment letter. No electronic devices allowed inside the embassy, applicant for immigrant visas ushered in first, and seated on the righthand side of the waiting area where CO called individuals.
My number A106 was called around 7.45 am. Civil documents (original birth cert, passport), medical, original police record and 2 passport size photos were requested and given. Finger prints were done.

asked to listen for my name for the interview to be done. after waiting for about 30 more minutes, name was called. I'm sworn in and then the questions began.

Questions

Who is my petitioner?
what is my age?
What is my occupation?
If i have ever travelled to the U.S. before and long i stayed?
Who is my Joint sponsor?

The CO then told me i am approved and if i had signed up with Dhl which brought a hugh smile to my face.
On the 8th of February got email with tracking number my DHL notifiying me that package is available for pick up. This morning at 8.40 am picked it up at DHL. My journey was smooth and hassle free thanks be to GOD. I will continue to update my fellow VJ members and i hope that all will be successful. Thanks again.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
