Event Description

Embassy Review : Interview process was fairly simple, though it did take a long time. I (US petitioner) was allowed to enter with my fiance at 8:15am for our 8:30am appt. Everyone was helpful, and as long as you have your documents in order, you shouldn't have a problem. Here was the process: 1st window-Biometrics confirmation, 2nd window- show all documents, give the Affidavit of Support, etc. 3rd window- Interview (less than 10 minutes...questions like tell me your story, what are your plans, anyone from your family going to the US for the wedding, when is the wedding...simple and straightforward stuff). Visa approved then and there, with instructions on picking it up after 5 business days. We got out around noon.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
