Embassy Review : My interview experience was truly amazing. The staff at The US Embassy in Bucharest are really nice. In case it helps anyone, here is my experience: I had the interview yesterday. The whole experience took like 25-30 minutes. First in the embassy they got me through metal detector and checked all I was carrying, after that they sent me in the building where I was having the interview, a nice lady asked for my passport, for my renewed police certificate, the medical, the TNT confirmation (this is only for Romania) and all the proofs of relationship. This took like maximum 5 minutes. After the CO called my name, took my fingerprints and my oath. The consul asked me how we met, how many times my husband visited me and when we married. And that was all! He said "Congratulations, your visa is approved! You can pick it up on monday. Welcome to America!" On the website it showed ISSUED in less than an hour after the interview. I am so happy!!!! POE is on Boston on the 7th Nov. Yaaaaay!!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone!!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
