9/11/14: CEAC website status shows IN TRANSIT Called NVC verify dates for this timeline. Case was rec'd at NVC on 9/9 and shipped to Manila on 9/10!!! One day!!!! Praise and thanks to God!
9/12/14: CEAC website case status indicates READY.
9/17/14: NVC Letter arrived today at Petitioner's (Allan's) house in U.S.
NOTE: Had to wait for passport renewal which caused us to wait 33 days before we could proceed with medical and interview!! We never expected the process to move so fast, so we were caught off guard! Lessons learned from passport renewal: The passport was available only on the release date; not any earlier. LBC tracking number is useless as their online tracking and tracking by text do not work at all! Their customer service number was the only way to check the tracking. LBC tracking only applies after the passport is received by the local DFA office and is being shipped to the recipient. LBC will not have any record of the passport until the DFA office ships the passport to the recipient. Tacloban office is not currently offering expedited shipping. We had to wait a full 35 calendar days.
10/21/14 Medical Exam. Lined up at 4 a.m. Was number 31. Has Chest X-ray, physical exam, blood drawn, and immunization interview to identify which immunizations would be needed. There were three. Varicella was one but since they don't have any here, they said it can be gotten in the U.S. Was done at 8:51 a.m!!!
10/22/14: Arrived and directed to laboratory instead of immunizations. X-ray showed irregularity and sputum culture will be required. Instructed to cancel interview which was scheduled for 10/29/14. Sputum collection scheduled for 11/3 - 11/5 with pulmonary exam scheduled for 11/6.
5/26/15 - Finally!!! LAST DOSE!! DOT is done!!!! We were so impressed with how pleasant and helpful the nurses were.
7/30/15 - FINALLY DONE!!! Final words from consul: "Everything looks great! Congratulations!!"
8/11/15 - Today, eighth day after interview - status at CEAC updated from refused to ready(when undergoing D.O.T. at St. Lukes, status is "refused") We were told by other former D.O.T. patients that it sometimes takes a few days after the interview for the status to change. For us, eight days was an eternity to await some change in status.

Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : San Francisco
POE Date : 2015-08-22 Submit Review
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,EAD Card
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : San Francisco was fine, but the line of incoming immigrants was long and we lingered on the plane. ADVICE. Get off the plane fast. Book seats where you can get off the fastest. Then walk fast, even run, to get to the immigration line. Since we took our time, we fiance was at the back of the line. It took three hours to get through the line, and we missed our connecting flight. It cost $1,500 to rebook!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
