Consulate Review: Juarez, Mexico
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 28, 2015
Embassy Review : The consulate experience was as others described for Ciudad Juarez. Medical was done at Servicos Medicos which was very professional, ASC and consulate interview were straightforward and as expected my fiancée was given the option to file the 601 and 212 waivers based on overstays and working without authorization. We hired an immigration attorney at the start of the K1 process to file the waivers which will be sent by May 31, 2015. More updates to come.
Rating : Good

Timeline complete as of August 24, 2021. Yay!!!!!!! Our visa journey started on February 13, 2014 and ended on August 24, 2021 with my wife receiving her Naturalization Certificate in San Francisco. Was a long complicated process and lots of work but everything with USCIS worked as it should have. No complaints. We feel very blessed to have been successful with each process.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
