Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : Dallas
POE Date : 2015-01-20
Got EAD Stamp :
Biometrics Taken :
Harassment Level : 10
Comments : POE took around two hours. The main problem was actually getting the ticket from the airline at BKK. First they refused to issue ticket due to an expired petition date. The visa was valid until March 17, but the petition expired Jan 03, 2015. They refused to issue a ticket and almost caused her to miss her flight. After she spoke to three supervisors she finally recieved her ticket. They told her that she would be sent back as soon as she reached Dallas. The airline ruined her whole trip as she was stressing out the whole flight. She reached dallas where she waited for two hours and caught her connecting flight thatnk god. Cathay Pacific acted as if they were CBP, they were totally wrong and made my fiance super stressed. Dallas POE is garbage to, highly recommend another POE.

Embassy Review : We live in Pensacola, NOLA is 3 hours away. Had an appointment at 8am. We left around 3:30 am. They didn't make anyone wait long after their appointment. My wife was really nervous, but they are pretty nice here. Easy to find, parking is expensive... Fast and easy. Thumbs up to the staff here.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
