Embassy Review : I have travelled on the Clipper through Victoria to Seattle for the past year. While dating I was questioned. When married questioned harder. When they asked if I had applied for visa it went downhill. I have been "paroled" twice. Some guards just look at my stuff others pull me into the back and I am fingerprinted. mug shots etc. Over an hour. The Harbour Master decides if he will let you in or not. He does not look at your stuff about country etc. When I asked why I had been let in just two weeks earlier they said. The guard had "broken" the law by doing so. AND they wanted to know which guard. I pretended to forget his name. They told me to come back only for an emergency. Death or car accident etc. No "conjugal visits". Yes, that was insulting. I was then told to call three days in advance to ask for a "parole"....I did not ask how I was to know three days in advance of an emergency. I am going to try to go through the Peach Arch crossing and see how that goes. Oh and a parole is $65.00.....it is on your passport for the next officer to see and wonder about. As well as on the screen. I am only three months into this nightmare and I am ready for an anti-depressant
Harassment Level : High

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
