Comments : We waited 45 minutes in the waiting room.
I was glad we had several hours layover and not only 1h50 like most of the airlines were offering. One can never be sure when the next available flight will be if you miss the first one as airlines tend to overbook more and more.

Consulate Review: Frankfurt, Germany
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 24, 2014
Embassy Review : My appointment was at 8am. I came out at 8:45am.
As I had to get up at 4am to go there I was not entirely awake. I was the only migrant when I was there.

I had to pay 325 dollars (or 260 euros)

questions asked:
- where did you meet?
- why are you in Germany?
- Where is your husband?
- Where does he work?
- What did he do in 2013? (because he didn't have a lot to declare on his tax) (he moved from Germany to US in the middle of the year as his visa ended then)
- Did I ever work in the military? (he didn't know about JAPD , the "military day" in France)

He was satisfied and I was approved.
I got back my original documents.
I will hopefully receive my passport in a week.

I do not give them a 5 because I had issues with them before the interview. They've made a mistake in my address so I had to request them to send me the letter by email and then they've made a mistake in my family name and they took 2 weeks each time to process the reception of incoming mails (without looking at the content).
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
