On February 23, 2015, we received a notice (dated February 18, 2015) stating that our case is a potential interview waiver case.
Unrelated to the case, though, due to workload factors, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing our case - approximately 6 months from the date of the letter.
Our case was transferred to the Cleveland Field Office from the Chicago Field Office at some point. We were not notified of the transfer, but only know this because our lawyer received an RFE dated July 2, 2015 and it came directly from the Cleveland Field Office. The RFE asked for a Copy of Civil Marriage Abstract for my husband and I - this document was included in our original submission, but may have been lost between the office transfers? Either way, we submitted our Marriage Certificate and Marriage License to our lawyer who overnighted the package on 07.09.15. We are awaiting further response/action.
In addition to the RFE information, we also requested to expedite the case in the same mailing do to "severe financial loss to company or individual."
Update: All was received OK and accepted and Green Card was received 08-26-2015! |
