Event Description
Review Date : March 9, 2014
Embassy Review : My fiancé arrived at 12:40 for a 13:00 interview. All interviews are scheduled for 13:00. He was the first to arrive. He took a number and looked around because his number had a B but the numbers on the screen had an A. He wondered if he was in the right place ;-) Others arrived while he waited. At 13:30 they began calling numbers; he was the first to be called! He submitted his papers and had a seat. He was called again within 20 minutes for the interview. Both officers were ladies. He was asked how we met, how many times we had seen each other. He was also asked if he had met my parents. Then he was asked if I know French or Arabic. He simply answered, "No". She then asked how we communicate. He answered, in perfect English, "I know some English". ;-) The consular laughed and continued the interview in English. She was very nice. They chatted about my mother as she stamped his application, APPROVED. He called me at 14:00...so the whole process took just one hour. There were no surprises and he was so happy!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
