Consulate Review: Moscow, Russia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 9, 2014
Embassy Review : long wait outside consulate in a very cold Moscow morning, but bearable. once inside slight hiccup as fiancé brought her thumb drive, and it needed to be disposed of, took it back outside and put on fence with other un-allowed items. once through security with cells handed over, we had some small trouble finding correct waiting area. asked clerk at open window, was told we were in right place. after some 3/4 hour, fiancé was called to window to produce paperwork, all was in order, thanks to VJ and google examples. about 15 minutes later fiancé was called into interview, I went too. fiancé was very nervous and shaking, but interview was quite short, about 10 minutes, and pleasant. after picking up cells and exiting building, I was able to go around side of consulate and pick up my fiancé's offending thumb drive, it had been knocked off of fence rail onto snow, other people had been putting up their un-allowed objects also.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
