Event Description
Review Date : December 31, 2013
Embassy Review : Alhumdulilah!! The process was very smooth.

Submitted the packet 3.5 on Oct 25 (Friday) and it was received on the 28th (Monday). Packet 4 took a while, came on Dec 09. Interview date was Dec 27.

Here is how the interview day went:
My fiancee had her appointment time 7:30 a.m. so she was the first to be interviewed. I told her to get there earlier as everyone else here suggested. She left her hotel around 6 got outside the embassy around 6:45ish. she was directed to Immigration line. She was the second one there. A family with elderly person came so she let them cut the line. She enter the embassy around 7:30. Gave her passport to the counter and cash. Her dad gave her exact change and some extra money so she doesn't have to wait for change.

After that she was called for interview and standard questions and one interesting question.

How you met?
Is it arranged or Love marriage
Wouldn't it be difficult for you live in USA? your whole life is here
What does your fiance do for living?
Any pictures together? After seeing the pictures, CO was satisfied
one last question:
What is his favorite dish..... she replied without a blink Biryani and both of them start laughing

Congratulations!! Welcome USA!!!

She was out by 8:30 am. Yup only took an hour.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
