Event Description

Embassy Review : Thanks visajourney and all members who been a great help in this journey!
Well yesterday my visa got approved "yeeeeyyyyyyyy"

I arrived at Islamabad shuttle service at 5.45 am
Bought shuttle service ticket at 6am
Then everyone who were supposed to go to US embassy were told to wait.
After wait bus arrived at 6.45 n we reached Us embassy around 7am.

There were two lines one for immigration(yellow) n other was for non immigrants( red)
We were given token number n allowed to enter the embassy gate
Now these what happened in sequence

1.i was asked to pass through security scanner
2.enter the waiting lounge for biometrics and photographs collection
3.around 7.30 my turn came and biometrics n appointment letter+photographs were taken
4.came outside and entered another waiting hall having CO windows.
5.was called on window #3 where local guy asked me to submit medical reports and confirm my cell number and then again i waited for my turn for main interview
6.at 9.30 i was called on windows 8 n CO asked me following question

First he told me to read the oath then

1.who is calling u
2.what does your spouse do
3.how you guys met
4.when was the last time she visited you
5.what do u do?
6.where she lives ( state and city)
7.then he keeps on typing something

N handed me paper which includes all the laws and regulation regard spouses ( which was a good sign)
Then with a smile he said "I AM APPROVING YOUR VISA"
I thanked him n came out

Checked my status today n it shows"issued"
Rating : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
