Event Description

Embassy Review : After 7years of my previous visa denials In American embassy Nigeria. I never knew I will ever step that interview room anymore. My story, I had wanted to study in America in 2001 and applied for f1 student visa then. I got denied under section 214, applied the second time, got denied. Applied the third time after 1year, got denied again. Waited for like 2yrs or so. Applied again they denied it under same section 214. I decided to relax and then look for other universities in a diff country. Just after one yr I got denied, I wanted to book a new appointment .because my father really wanted me to study in the united states. As it was, after getting a new I-20. A mail came from Kentucky n it was visa lottery package. I won!!! After all the arrangements, I got my interview scheduled for 2006 November. Was really happy, there it goes again with the CO. I did a course in electrical wiring for 2yrs n also hv my high school degree certificate. As it was, the interviewer asked me like your high school credit is not bad. N you have a two yrs course in electrical wiring but I'm sorry I hv to denie u. I was shocked, then I just said one thing to him, if it's Gods way anyday anytime I will be there. N he smiled bye. I left. After all I decided no to America n decided to study in china. Got admission n then applied n got my student visa to study electronics communication engineering. Here it goes. Met with my wife in 2010 who is an USC. Met in a bar the first time, she said hi, I said hello. She asked are u a student here? I replied yeah. She said I'm blablablaI said hi. But not really interesting to talk much. Later we exchanged numbers. The nxt day I asked if she has skype, she said yes sure. We exchanged I'D's. Started talking, to cut the whole story short. We fell in love with each other n got married in 2013, then I filed for cr1, thou she already left China cuz she was pregnant with our first daughter. N had some complications, so I decided she has to go home to get a good medical care cuz we loss our first baby boy in china as well cuz the medical sucks. She went home n had our baby girl lizzie. We filed for expedite n was approved. After that I booked my appointment myself. Here goes the interview. Arrived Guangzhou, I was like. Jesus I'm here again . I filled my Ds230 well, all the previous denials n sorts. Interview time. Who filed for u? Where is your wife now? Do you both have a baby? Any pics of the baby? When did she return to the u.s? You guys got married in china, where n how was the wedding, church wedding or what? Did u propose to her? Ok. Fine here is it, your docu aint complete. Your visa is been preliminary approved. Pls tell your sponsor to submit irs tax transcript of 2012 n 2013 n you have to submit a police criminal record that covers all your stay in china. Send the docu with your passport to us. After seven days I sent it. Emailed them if they gt it. They replied yes. I got my visa issued after 9days of submitting the whole docu. I just want you guys to know that what God has marked yes nobody can stop it. In all, be sincere n don't fake anything cuz what is meant to be will be. God bless you all
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
