Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 13, 2013
Embassy Review : I called my fiance' from the Golf course @ 3:12 p.m. Galveston Texas time to wake her like I promised. she told me later that she was already in the shower, so we did not get to speak with each other the morning of her interview. she told me that she arrived in line @ 05:30.

She said she stayed there for a while but was so nervous and did not note what time they let her into the Consulate. She stopped at a window 39 and there they allowed her to review her papers to make sure there were no blanks becasue it would mean an autmaticic reschedule if there are any.

She then turned in her papers and got her lucky number (6154). she said she was so nervous and she had to wee wee, but did not dare go to the comfort room because she did not want to miss her number flashing.

At some point whe was called to place her thumb print and name and birthday was submitted.

She is unsure of the exact time but around 11:00 a.m. her number flashed and she entered the room for the interview.

The American Man was very kind she said. He asked her name and she responded. He then asked her fiance's name and she responded. He then asked here when and how we met and she said at Bus station at Pasay terminal but we met on dating site Cherry blossom.

She then said that I visited her 3 times and He said "Wow, Then you are approved"! and smiled. She then left and went to verify the papers for delivery of the visa. She said she then went to the comfort room and walked back to the hotel to get her Ipad to contaxct me. she was very very excited! ME TOO!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
