Local US CIS Office Review: Atlanta GA
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : June 25, 2013
Embassy Review : The whole thing went really well! I brought all the documents on the appointment notice, but they asked to see nothing at all. They just ask us to repeat our names, and answer the typical list of "are you an enemy of the state?" questions. They didn't ask us any questions to prove our relationship or anything (we submitted a lot of letters, pictures and others when originally filing). I had made a pretty album and scrapbook, and they didn't even look at it

I think they were training a new officer because there was something sitting there and observing. They asked us to go back to the waiting room after the interview, then came to get us and right in the waiting room told us congratulations! and gave us a sheet of paper with all the info on it. Woot!

The officer wasn't very personable, but he was nice and efficient, and that works for me!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
