Consulate Review: Frankfurt, Germany
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 3, 2013
Embassy Review : Everything went great..
I got there 30 min early and went through security. After that i went to the other building and got a number. The guy told me to go right up to window 22. I didnt had to wait and the guy at window 22 took my passport and fingerprints and gave me some information.
I waited to get called to window 21 which only took about 2 min. The lady went with me through my paperwork and asked when i would be traveling to the states. She also took the envelop for the visa.
After i was done there i waited about 5 -10 min to go to window 18 were a really nice lady did the interview . I had to do the oath and sign the ds230. She asked where my husband works, since when he is back in the states and where we met. After that she said congratulations you are approved. She told me to not open that envelop and that the entire process at the POE will take about 2-3 hrs.

All in all it took me a little more than 30 min and everyone was really friendly
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
