Local US CIS Office Review: Phoenix AZ

Event Description
Review Date : April 26, 2013
Embassy Review : Biometrics - Very Friendly Staff, Quick & Easy. In and out in an hour - tops.
Interview - The Window 8 Folks were very busy chatting with one another and seemed a bit put out to help us check-in. The same lady that did the Biometrics was in the waiting area checking for more of 'her' folks and told us all that it would be easy in the interview and not to worry -- just be normal and relax.

We got into the interview with a very nice man (name eludes me, but he is a big guy) and had a few seconds general chit chat as he went through the paperwork. There was some confusion on the Koseki-Tohon being valid as a Birth Certificate (it was, he just was not familiar) and we had a bit more chit-chat as that was worked through. He asked us a few basic questions, (where from, parents names, where entered US, ran through all the have you ever done X questions from the I-465. He then pulled out the stamp and marked the paper 'Approved'. Right before he gave us the form and walked out the door, he asked if we brought photos. I said yes, and he looked at them and gave them back. A little out of order, but all was well.

Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
