Embassy Review : Interview was a smooth and easy process.
We stayed at Trident Hotel in Bandra Kurla just meters away from the embassy.
It was rainy season then so we decided that closer we were the better.
We went to the embassy at 7am for a 7:30 appointment. The lined were formed at 7 and we were let in around 7:20. There was a security check. I had no problems there as I was not carrying and CD or coins or any other restricted items.
I was the first one to complete security and get into the line for the token.
I had to sit for around 5 mins after the token which an Indian Officer called me . The questions were routine
Where did you meet him
Hace you traveled to the US before etc
Another 15 mins wait while I read the domestic voilence pamphlet and the American CO called me. It was a very easy interview.
I read the oath and then she asked me where I mer my husband, and when the last time was tat I met him
..... she said approved
I checked us travel docs for my passport status and collected it yesterday.
They ask for the interview letter, origibal govt photo ID and a xerox of passport
It was very smooth and hassle free... cant believe I was worried sick!! lol
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
