His interview was scheduled for 9:30am. We arrived at 8:30am. Shaun proceeded in the building. Went to several stations and then ending up with a friendly consulate officer. He asked just a few questions: When did we meet? When did we get engaged? What does your finance do for a living? What do you intend to do when you arrive in the US for work? Do you talk on the phone - if so do you have phone record (and we had them)? Then he looked at the phone records and scanned through other documents and took about 5 minutes and told Shaun to head to the DHL counter! YAY! I was there for a week after and the visa wasnt ready. It took 7 business days after the interview! Wonderful! We have booked his airline ticket allowing him time to wrap up his stuff in Jamaica - work and family! Wedding here we come! Super excited. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 190 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 291 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.
