After my biometrics appointment, I received a letter automatically extending my GC to May 8/18. At the end of April, 2018 I had to seek assistance from the Senator's office in North Dakota where we now live, to get an appointment in Minneapolis to extend my GC for another year or I would no longer be able to work. They got me an expedited appointment for may 7th to extend my GC for another year. It is now July 2018, and I just received a notice my file was moved to the Nebraska office for processing. Crossing my fingers I will get my new card before extension #2 expires. I will be filing N-400 papers as soon as my GC is finished. We have had enough of immigrations! |

The staff were pleasant to deal with and the whole process went quite smoothly. I had all of my documents packed in the order requested, but with dividers in between which they asked me to remove (I guess I was over organized). They only asked a few questions about how we met, where we worked, and how many kids we each had. It was just nerve wracking waiting to be called up to the window lol! |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
