Embassy Review : I arrived around 8:45 for my 9:30am interview, so it was pretty early. Not many ppl were there yet.I went to window 5 and pressed buzzer. After about 5 to 10 minutes, a lady came and asked me my surname, then she went away. After another 10 minutes, a second lady came(I think it's B)with a folder full of my files. She then stared going through my documents and explaining to me the procedure after I arrive in the US. She told me that the doctor forgot to sign my vaccination sheet so I have to go back and ask her to sign it again. She was really nice and joked around. After I paid the fee, she told me to wait to be called for the interview itself. I waited for about 10-15 minutes, then I was called to window 3. The interviewer was an old gentleman, he was also friendly. Probably because I'm not a NZ citizen or permanent resident, he asked me a lot of questions about How long have I been to NZ, how old was I when I came to NZ, what other countries have you visited? What other countries have you lived in apart from NZ and China, have you visited the US before etc Then he asked me about how I met my fiance, how many times has he been to NZ, have we met each other's parents, what job does he have in the US, if this is the 1st marriage for me and him etc After all this, he give me a white sheet asking for the signed vaccination sheet. I was a bit concerned seeing that white sheet, so I asked him what the interview result is, he said that I just need to give them the signed vaccination sheet, otherwise it looks good. And that they will issue me the visa once they have the vaccinaton certificate from the doctor, and then he said congratulations before I left. Overall it was good, and faster than I expected
Rating : Good
