Comments : My mother has congestive heart failure and would like to see her daughter in law before she dies. I went to the philippines and lived with my wife there for 3 months and called my senator and requested an expedite and I wanted to fly home with my wife so she could meet her mother in law before she passes. They expedited her case at every agency and the US Ambassador requested her case be expedited with the embassy as well. Everything was procesed VERY quick, and she has her CR1 Visa and I cant wait to meet her at the airport with our little pug Angel still have to figure out international shipping of animals..God Bless

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 7, 2013
Embassy Review : The CO was very stern and never gave back my NBI or Police Clearance. She never even said approved. However 2 days later i received my passport in the mail with my visa attached. So I was Approved!! the filipino prescreener was very nice. Overall not a bad experience.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
