Consulate Review: Warsaw, Poland
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 4, 2012
Embassy Review : The embassy in Warsaw is well organized, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The security check and initial documents verification are quick and stress-free. All the consular officers I spoke with were very professional and not intimidating, they didn't try to find a reason no to grand me a visa but to merely verify that the documentation was correct. From the moment I entered the building it took around 1.15h until I was able to leave and I get my cell phone back. Overall, a very good experience, nothing to worry about!
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Newark
Event Description
Entry Date : 2012-09-27
Embassy Review : Newark airport is supposedly one of the busiest American airports so initially, I expected to spend lots of time waiting. However, and maybe thanks to my ability to go very fast I managed to get to passport control way before the rest of passengers from my flight. there were maybe 3-4 people in front of me in the line, when it was my turn I immediately presented my K-1 visa, a TSA officer took the envelop, took my fingerprints and pic and then we both walked to the secondary inspection room. I was expecting at least 20-30 min wait, especially as there were at least 10 people already sitting in the waiting area. To my huge surprise, I got called after maybe 5-10 min. An officer asked me who my fiance was and how we met and afterwards handed me back my passport. That was it... I spent more time waiting for my luggage and rechecking it :P
Overall, this POE doesn't seem to be problematic!
good luck to everyone flying in to Newark, NJ
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
