Comments : He was approved but he said he had a hard time with the interview. They asked him a lot of questions but he was able to answer everything and finally he was told that everything seems okay and he is approved. My fiance is older than me that looks younger than me and anothet thing is he has a pending family petition that is why they are kind suspicious, but anyway, they are just doing their job, and they cannot find anything wrong and they approved him eventually. Thank you Lord.

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 26, 2013
Embassy Review : I do not really have much to say, but my fiance said that it was the worst interview in his life, because it seems like they are not convinced with our relationship, and they asked a lot of questions as in tons of questions. It is good that he was really ready with the interview and they cannot find anything wrong with our relationship and finally they have to approved it. I know it is a case to case basis but he said that they scrutinized everything but I told my fiance that I am glad that we are approved and well they are just doing their job. I am just so glad that they did not deny us or put us in Administrative review. It is also kind complicated because my fiance has a pending family petition and they might be thinking that the relationship is not real and just trying to go here in the Unnited States.
Rating : Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
