Event Description

Embassy Review : We went to Abu Dhabi the day before the interview and we stayed overnight in a close by hotel. Next morning we were outside the embassy at 7:20 and we were second in line ,most of the applicants for Immigrant visas were Iranian and I thought we were the only non Iranian until one Pakistani family arrived later on. around 8:10 am they let us in they gave us a number and asked us to sit, a few minutes later our number came on one of the windows where an Iranian American Woman was waiting behind, she took my husband's medical and bio-metrics, then my husband was asked to sit again. After 2 or 3 minutes my Husband was called in to a small room (I was not allowed in) and he was asked a few simple questions (how did we meet ,how long we have known each other, how and where did we get married, who is the co sponsor, and what are our plans when we arrive to US), Interviewer was quite nice, He told my Husband that his visa was approved and that his passport will be delivered in few days the whole thing from the time we were let in until we came out lasted less than half an hour ,We were outside the embassy at 8:40

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
