Comments : Some confusion on payment of embassy fees but paid in China at Citi Bank with Chinese money. After left Vermont Service Center and was received by NVC everything moved very quickly. My bride to be did a great job in China making sure all details were correct. Has flight to Chicago from China then to Florida. Scheduled to arrive Christmas eve. What a great Christmas present. I hope everyones experience is as good as ours has been. Good luck and hopeful no problems in Chicago with K1 Visa.

Comments : No interview. About six months prior to receiving I-485 approval Aiping received a letter stating she was being considered as a candidate to receive her I-485 approval without formal interview but of course they could change that status. Called several times but could not get any information as to the progress and we received nothing in the mail until Surprise!! last day of the year 2013 our mailbox had her approval and said she would have her card in two weeks which came in one. In February we returned to China for three months to visit family and had no trouble with any of the documentation going or returning to the US. I applied and received a two year VISA from the Chinese embassy when we supplied copies of marriage and Aiping's green card. Now we wait for 18 more months for the 10 year green card.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
