Embassy Review : We prayed on the phone around 5AM(9ja time), and off he went. He sent me a BB msg around 5:20AM that he was there already, at 6 he left the car, leaving his phone, so I knew I would just be on my bed, thanking God. He said when he got towards the gate, there was already a crowd. He joined the immigrant visa line which he already knew because in 2010, I invited him for my graduation(he was not approved). The security guard asked them to open the medical envelop( he was pissed about this because he wanted to open it ever since he got the envelop and i kept insisting it has to remain sealed). They were handed a slip they needed to fill out(he said good thing he had pen as I had insisted because pen became a big deal, he gave one to the next guy) He then went through security, went to make the payment. After which he was asked to drop off the packet 3 forms, and affidavit of support and supporting document. He was initially stopped because they told him he didn't have enough passport photo, then they realized he already stapled his passport photo to the forms, so he got a number and went to the bathroom. He said he needed to freshen up for it o (lol) . The waiting game started. He said there were only two CO (a white man and woman) that seemed "so angry and hungry" and were denying people. He said you could hear most of the conversations, and people were just seating and laughing. around 11 AM a black woman joined the CO and he told God that who he wanted. Then they all left for lunch. Only the first 2 CO returned and continued calling #s. Then the black lady returned and called him. He swore the oat to tell the truth, he was asked his name, then the questions started:
Who filed for you
whats your relationship to the petitioner
Where does she work
Whats the distance from her work to the city she lives in
Does she live alone or with her family
How many siblings does she have
She asked to see more pictures. (I made an album) He said she saw the first picture and was like thats cute. after viewing a some pictures, she handed them back, including the ones I sent with the original application. She asked him if he knew an address (he said he was like yes, yes) then she said pick up your visa in that location next week. That was it. he spent over 6 hrs at the embassy. I dont care how long he spent in there but God brought the result we anticipated. We were over prepared, but knowing this embassy preparation is never enough. Fasting and Prayer works!! Preparation was just an obvious agenda. My advice, be prepared!! take pen, be organized, dont cut corners, send all and what you can, ask questions, and read reviews.PRAY(if you dont believe in God, give your life to HIM lol-but its the TRUTH) This website became my 2nd Bible. My Babe picked up his visa a week later as he was told, and now preparing to come over. This 5 years long distance is coming to an end, and a new chapter is about to start.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
