Embassy Review : |
I had my Fiancee stay in Bangkok the night before the interview. She stayed within walking distance, at her request. Interview time was 7:00 AM
She got to embassy about 6:45 and had about 30 people lined up and waiting.
Once she got in and turned in the docs they needed, she then proceeded to wait until 8 AM when the embassy interview staff got in. She said the questions took about 20 minutes. Very basic, nothing hard at all.
The only issue was with her passport, had wrong birthplace on it. Once fix, return.
She returned the following Wednesday with her new passport (couldn't believe the turn around time). She was then told to come back on Monday to pick up Visa!.
Overall she said the paperwork was the most stressful, with actual interview being the easiest. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
