Comments : We were waiting for the U.S. Embassy in Dakar, Senegal to give us an interview date. However, we finally received our interview date two days before we were scheduled to leave Dakar to move to Warsaw, Poland for a new job. It took us another two months to get our application approved for interviewing in Poland and for Dakar to send the package to Warsaw.

Comments : The agent at POE incorrectly told us my husband would receive conditional status. Which confused us because we had been married longer than two years. He wasn't very helpful when we tried to understand why he gave him conditional status. However, when all the paperwork was processed and the card sent, the conditional status had been removed!

Member Reviews:

Consulate Review: Warsaw, Poland
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 28, 2013
Embassy Review : Our interview was about five minutes in length. He only asked one question then congratulated us. Unfortunately we were given the visa only to have to return it the same day for additional administrative processing. We received the visa again about a month later.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
