Comments : it was a great experienced being our POE is in San Francisco, a Filipino is assigned at the New Immigrant section and he asked for our passport and asked me where i met my husband and i answered him and then he asked for our next flight i said in about an hour . . he said ok just sit there for about 10 minutes and i will get back to you . . before 10 minutes he waved his hands and we approached him and he said ok you ran to your connecting flight and welcome to america . . we ran and a Pinoy porter help us with our luggage and told us dont worry of the tip, he helped us and told us to put our carry ons on a trolley and ran . . when we arrived at gate 42 at San Francisco they are already calling zone 1 passengers . . we were just in time . . Thanks God everything went smoothly even our flight from the Philippines . . just bring with you smaller dollars bills when you stop over in Japan . . when you buy they will give your change in yen . .
but there are some stores that change in dollars but you have to line up

Event Description
Review Date : July 7, 2012
Embassy Review : Two (2) days before our scheduled interview my son was scratch by a cat while just sitting outside the house . . maybe he is at the wrong place 2 punctures wounds on his upper right arm and 2 punctures wounds on his back .. took him to the doctor anti tetanus shot and the following morning i brought him to San Lazaro hospital for anti rabies shots and ERIG (P2,475 for 2 vials)and was administered once only . . expect some reactions . . July 5, at 9pm his fever is 39 and i got panicky with nobody around to support me.. for short i am stress out and worried what and if ever my son is sick, how can we go to the US Embassy for our visa interview . . so i said to my son i am going to pray and you agree with me. . its a prayer claiming healing and rebuking hindrances for our interview the morning . . i just felt a tight hug and kiss from my son . .it was the longest night of my life . . i tried to go online to talk to my husband but he is offline i did not sleep that night just make my self busy checking all the possible document the consul might asked me to show him/her
July 6, 2012 at 4am
i woke my son with no fever at all . . and so we left home for the Embassy, our schedule is 8:30am but we joined the line for 7:30am and at exactly 6:00am we were asked to proceed and prepare our passport and interview schedule . . they asked if ST. LUkes gave us CD or envelop . . attached a piece of paper at the back of the passport and was given a zip clock plastic for the passport . .
at 6:30am;

we were asked to enter the building, but with no luck a card with battery was seen in my envelop so i was asked to throw it outside (its a card for my son from DAD). . so i went out again and pass by the xray machine again!!!! and still another card . . so i said how did it happen, went out again a card from my husband for Valentines Dad!!! when i removed the batteries the music when on . . where do i begin to tell the story . . love story!!! it made me smile . . so we were able to get thru the door and line up for our number and interview schedule . . (number will be your number all throughout the process inside the embassy) and 2go delivery information is being issued there . .
proceed inside the buliding using door N0. 3 and

6:45 am the process starts
pass the r xay machine again and submit your schedule sheet and number at window 39. . sit down and wait for you number to flash at the digital board . .

8:45am
our number flash with the aasigned window number, for finger printing.. name and bday were asked sit down again and wait for the number to be called . .

9;20am Filipino Officer
questions were;
So you are a retired govt employee. what agency is that?
state your name
let me signed DS 230 Part IV for my son and me
where did you meet?
when did your relationship start?
what is the name of your petitioner?
when was his last visit?
what is his work? he might asked you to explain the nature of his work
Is he in the military?
so you are married once, what causes it to end?
your husband is married too, how many times?
how did it end?
what state are you going?
did you go to the US or other country?
how many days did you stay there?
can you show me pictures of you together?
open the small album and scan for me . . then he said its ok now with me
He is so nice . . he smiles . . you can sit down again and wait for your number to be called

10:25am window 61- American Consul
we were asked to raised our right hand and take an oath . . to be truthful
he asked for my name
asked my son his name but maybe my son is nervous . . he said my name is Jonathan c. Musthaler . . and right away he said no no no . . my name is jonathan c. jacinto , the American consul smiled at my son and said are you sure? yeah was the answer and he said yeah soon you can have you dad\' name . .
then he types some info on his computer and asked for pictures . . he asked me to open into half the album and slid it into the openning infront and he scanned the album ( better buy a small album were 3/5 pictures can fit in opennings.)
Ok i find it right and will call you again if we find something( i notice he did not stamp my sons folder . .

10:32am window 71

our number was called again . . to 2go
and the guy said mam you are both approved but your sons passport will be delivered few days after you received your passport as he needs a clearance . . but he is approved . . check our cp number and mailing address . .
then submit to 2go the paper which was issued to you outside before entering the embassy . .

God Bless you all on your visa journey and to all those who comforted us during those trying months of waiting, thank you so much for all the great help and we will be forever be grateful . . you know who you are guys . .

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
