Embassy Review : We had our interview on july 5th 2012. Things didnt start out good because we were late. We got to the little park on the corner by 7:30 am and they had already given numbers to everybody that was gonna be interviewed that morning, so we had to go to the end of the line. My advice: be there before seven so you dont have to stand in line too long.
Then we got in and they put you in a little room with a bunch of people to check your papers. The lady there was very nice she checked everything and made two bundles with our papers:one with the evidence and another with the rest of the papers.
Then they send you to another room where we handed out the papers through a slot on a glass window and they took my fiancee finger prints. It was here when we were gonna hand out the evidence bundle and to our surprise the lady said she didnt need that. she only took the rest of the forms and the affidavit.
Then again to another room where we waited for almost an hour before they called us up. The Lady there was very nice also. Smiling all the time. She said se wanted to interview my fiancee first so I left and she called me back after 5 minutes. Then she said my fiancee didnt have to leave the room and she asked me a few questions in English. Basically she asked my fiance:

--How did you meet?
--When did you meet?
--How many times has he come to see you?
--What do you do when he comes to see you?
--Have you met his son?
--How old is his son?
--What does he do for a living?

She asked me the same questions. She also asked me if I had proposed...Of course she could see my fiancee was wearing an engagement ring.

She finally said everything looked good and that the visa will be ready july 12th.

Overall it wasnt as stressful as I thought.

I wish everybody good luck... And remember if the relationship is real you dont have anything to hide. No matter how many question they ask you will always have the answer for them.

GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!

Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
