Embassy Review : I'm just now getting back on here since our return from Napoli. We stayed in the Best Western Hotel Paradiso. The hotel was nice because they arrange pick up from the airport for you and have a restuarant in the hotel. There is also a taxi stand right out of the front door of the hotel, so we were able to find a taxi waiting there each time that we had somewhere to go. It's about a 5 min taxi ride to the Embassy. To get there, it cost us 5 euros and to get back to the hotel was 7 euros (we got stuck at a couple of red lights). Monday morning, we got up and went for my husband to complete the medical. We got there around 0750 and there were already several people waiting for the visa medical. We got back to our hotel around 1045. My husband had to be at the Embassy at 1400 to get his fingerprints done, Monday afternoon. That took him about 15 min to get done. Tuesday morning, we got to the Embassy at 0700 (our appt was at 0730) and there was a line of about 15 people in front of us! My advice-be early! We got to the window for our paperwork review. That was super easy and fast. I had everything organized and tagged with post-it notes. The guy went down the checklist and checked everything off as I gave it to him. Don't forget to make copies of everything that you have to give them!! I forgot to make copies of several things, but they were super nice about making them there for me. We were called to the second window around 1045 to do our interview. The guy doing the interview was very nice and professional! As far as my prior contact with the Embassy, I've had terrific luck contacting them via email with a Ms. Woods. She always got back to me quickly and was always very helpful. I would say that overall, if you are prepared and have all of your documents together, the process should go smoothly and quickly in Naples. All of my dealings with them have been good.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
