Embassy Review : So i arrived at the embassy at 5.30am for 7am interview. While waiting for my number to be called, i witnessed a lot of denials even for the elderly. while waiting there was a man that was just giving out visas. i prayed to be with him.Instead i got the guy that was too inquisitive. i spent close to 30mins with him. These were the questions
- has ur fiance been married?
- does he have kids?
- what was the reason for divorce?
- when did they separate
- how did ur fiancee become a USA citizen
- where does he work?
- what is his job designation and what does that entail?
- do you know any of his colleagues at work?
- where is his office located?
-what are his hobbies? ( his likes watching comedies and reading books)
- what comedy does he watch?
-what book is he reading write now.
- how did u meet? ( we met thru a mutual friend)
- how did i (me) know the mutual friend, when did we first meet...
- what is the weather in his location?
- does he like sports? which one?
-do u have relations in the US?
- what are your marriage plans?
he asked for pics but no questions were asked there. he didnt ask for phone records, emails, or skype.
he then asked for tax returns.
THEN.... he said i will issue u a visa , CONGRATULATIONS
The most impt part of the interview is to stay confident. practice all the questions u have seen on this site and more as frequently as u can. Always stick to the same story cos he kept asking the same questions in different ways ( i guess he wanted to see if it was all true)an above all PRAY.
THANKS to all the VJers who have contributed to making this a success, this site was so helpful. Special thanks to Kendra, souleymon, tedduz, harmony2012, patience2010,ndu26, iamvictorious and others who answered all my sometimes ridiculous questions... GOD BLESS U ALL.

Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
