Comments : Interview in Tashkent Uz. Appt at 8 am. -13 degrees C. Sidewalks had ice pack on them from snow several days before. No effort to shovel them. I accompanied L there we arrived at 7:30 went to security at 7:50. Guards sent me back to taxi. She was detained along with families with little babies and elderly on the ice pack freezing. She was allowed to enter embassy at 9:03. She got to interview (of course anything metal and all communication devices had to be left with me in taxi). Interviewer wanted to talk to me but the United States Government could not make a long distance phone call to her cell phone from a city code 30 kilometers from tashkent. The guards told her if she left the embassy to walk the half block to the taxi to get me they would not let her back in the embassy. And the guards were too lazy to come to the taxi and get me for the consulate. She set in silence for 3 hours consulate hoping I would magically appear even though the guards had run me off and nobody would communicate and then L started crying. Consulate said to her I did not say I would not approve your visa do not cry. He approved visa and L left embassy at about 2 PM. I am ashamed ta say it it my government that operates that embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
