Embassy Review : The interview was easy and relaxed! Everyone at the embassy was very nice and friendly. There was no line to the immigrant visa section so I got in within just a few minutes. Had to leave my phone and headphones with the guards in the guardhouse. Got a tag with a number on it so I could collect it afterwards. The guards told me to follow the pathway and go to window G (G as in golf ). There I handed over the documents to a Swedish-speaking woman who sorted them out and made sure I had everything. Then I sat down and waited for my interview. I was called to the interview and I had to raise my right hand and swear that everything was the truth. Then I was asked the following questions: What is the name of your fiancé, how did you meet, and how much have you seen each other since then. We have traveled back and forward a lot, so it took a while to go through all of the trips. It was super friendly and relaxed. The interview itself took maybe 5 min at the most. I was not asked to show any proof of our relationship, not even a new letter of intent. Afterwards she told me that everything looked good and I should have my passport back within two weeks. My appointment was for 9 and I was out of there at 10. I am so happy!
Rating : Very Good

Embassy Review : Our interview for adjustment of status based on marriage after entering the US on a K-1 visa lasted about 10-15 min and was very relaxed and easy. The first thing the officer told us was that our paperwork was amazing (thank you VJ!) and that we were just going through a few mandatory questions and that we would not have to provide any more evidence (we will just save the evidence we collected for ROC). We were asked for our names, date of birth, how we met, and when we decided to get married. That was pretty much it and the rest of the time we were just having a friendly conversation while the officer was going through our file asking basic questions. We were approved at the end of the interview and the card should arrive in 2-3 weeks. I brought my EAD/AP combo card but was allowed to keep it. It was definitely a very good experience

Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
