Event Description
Review Date : March 20, 2012
Embassy Review : My wife arrived about 7:30 and got in line with about 6 other people. Through the entrance, then eventually to a room where everyone with an 8 AM interview slot waited. She was called to a window where a woman interviewed her. She expected a private room but the interview was conducted at a window with a low partition in public view. They started out speaking Russian but then the woman asked her if she spoke English. She said yes and the woman switched to English. She asked about how we met, how my wife feels about our age difference, how the ex-husband feels about the son leaving the country. My wife became very chatty and smiling and she said it was actually a pleasant interview. The woman told her that everything was in order and her visa was approved.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
