Local US CIS Office Review: Philadelphia PA
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : July 22, 2011
Embassy Review : Our appointment was set for 11am. My husband and I arrived at the office 15min prior to the appointment thinking we'll have to wait a long time before we'll be called in. I believe we waited no more than 20min before my name was called. The IO we spoke with asked couple of simple questions such as DOB, place of birth, how many times I visited the US to which I responded waaay to many times to remember. I had to also tell him what kind of visa I was here on and what visa I was granted in the past. He asked if we had and children, whether we met each others parents and if my husband visited my country and if we traveled together. I believe we spent only about 10 to 15 min before the IO congratulated us and said we've been approved. He also mentioned that it's obvious we've know each other for a long time and that we've submitted sufficient evidence of our ongoing relationship. We were relieved by the positive outcome but also expected it. Overall, it simply couldn't go better and we're happy with the results.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
