Event Description
Review Date : June 18, 2011
Embassy Review : Arrived about 6am, the lines split up at around 630 and they let us inside around 645. Initially everyone stood in a line until around 7am when a women came and handed us the folder which listed everything we needed (as in packet 4 instructions). We were then sent off to put all in the folder and then give it back to her for review. We then waited about an hour when my fiance was called to the first window. I was asked to leave. Here she just reviewed all the paperwork and asked a few questions like how/when we met, about my ex wife, my occupation, my kids, about her son and his father (does he give permission). Then we were told to wait again. Waited about 30 mins and she was called to the window for biometrics (takes 2 mins). Waited another hour and was called to the final interview. The CO seemed very nice. Talked to us separately. Asked many of the same questions, asked plans for kids, how we keep in touch etc. Finally approved. Paid domesa (we will pick up at their office).

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
