Event Description
Review Date : January 13, 2012
Embassy Review : My fiance' had his interview on Dec. 18th. The appointment time was at 1:30 but he did not see the counselor until 4:30 it was a long wait and there were other people in front of him. When he got to the window the counselor man was so nice to him and asked him lots of questions about our relationship and about what some of my favorite things were. All of the paper work was good but one thing was wrong on the co-sponser paper, a box was marked wrong. The counselor instructed us to have the form filled out again and have it sent to him and a final decision would be made. The interview took about 40 min and the man was so nice and polite and laughed a lot. The form was filled out and sent on Dec. 21 and the visa was issued on Jan.4th and he received the packet on Jan. 12th with his passport stamped with the visa and with the port of entry papers. Thank Allah for everything going so smooth and quickly.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
