Embassy Review : Hello to all K-1 applicant!
Hope you will enjoy reading this and got some from it for those who will undergo interview soon at embassy.

What a blessed day for us today and also to my fiancee. Today was my interview schedule. I woke up like 3:30am and prepared myself for the day. To much excitement, i got few hours of sleep,,hehehe! I arrived at the embassy about 6:05 and falling in a very long line, ugh! Before entering, one lady asked my passport, DS-156,157,156k together with the passport and appointment letter. after checking all that mentioned. She handed it back to me and come inside. Upon entering, you must past in body x-ray then your bag will be test in x-ray machine. They really don\'t allowed of those electronics devices. They will confiscated it from you.

When i get inside, its another line to the window to get your queue number. I gave all the forms that the first lady handed it back to me. Then same thing happened, she stapled it all and gave it to me again with the queue number and told me to dropped it at window 39 then wait my number to flash on board. I\'ve waited more than hour for my number to came out. At first, i thought that they already forgot me cos i\'ve waited for so long! but its not. After a while, it came out and it was to window 41 for my biometric or finger prints then after it went back to set waited for the number to flash again for the next step.

I\'ve waited again for almost an hour.I kept on watching the number flashing on the board but i can\'t see mine 6144. After a while she paged my name to window 43. There lady there told me why i did not came out right away as she kept on flashing my number? I told her, none ma\'am! i did did not see it cos i wash in front in flashing board. She told me to take a look on the number appeared in her window just to let me know that she did. When i saw it its number 6108 and mine is 6144. So i told her that\'s not my number ma\'am but she said, no its yours. but i did not argued her too much anymore. I did not noticed that it was my initial interview already, hahaha! i thought she will just going to get my documents like NBI clearance, B-certificate, CENOMAR, and affidavit of support, proof of payment, then passport. Yes she did and after it started to ask me some questions. She was a nice filipina and used tagalog language for me. She is if who is my petitioner?, when we started our conversation online before meeting in person?, When we had our first meet?, How many times we meet?, Is he married before and have children? then am i married before too? She asked also if we have photos with my petitioner? and said, yes ma\'am and she told me to show it to my consul. After it, she told me to go back to my set again then wait for my number to be flash. Then this time she told me also to be watchful all the numbers flashing. I said, ok ma\'am thanks a lot then SMILE!

I went back to set right and but its in more close to the flashing board. This time my eyes got sore and feel so sleepy but thanks God cos i\'ve waited only like 30 minutes. I was called in window number 62. It was the very young and nice american lady. She greet me good morning with a great smile then i did the same to her, assuming that we are friends before, Joke! She has the same question with the filipina lady but there are some added like when our plan to get married with my fiancee? of course, i answered her after 90 days. She said, ok, so you knew that its really after 90 days. I said, yes ma\'am! After a while she handed me one of my form just for me to write the name of my petitioner then my signature with it. After filling it out, i gave it back to her. Then she asked me if i have photos with my fiancee and i said, yes ma\'am i have so many. She saw some that i was holding and she asked it. I told her again, ma\'am beside that, i have some here in my album! she SMILE at me and said that\'s great but this pictures are enough then Smiled again! She took a glance from our pictures and gave it back to me. After those conversation, she told me with a SMILE that my visa is APPROVED! That time, i got so HAPPY!! I clapped my hand in front of her and said, oh ma\'am thank you very much!!!Praise God! and she said, your welcome! and please wait your number again to be flashed for the instruction of your visa delivery...I left her with full of joy in my heart and so thankful to God for everything!

The last but not the least, my number called in window 72 for the instruction. The in-charge there was confused because of what to say because i am the only that put pick -up for the visa. He got nothing to ask but instead asking in different question. He asked if what state am i in U.S? I told him in Ohio state sir. He advices me to buy big jacket cos its snowing there now,,,hehehe! then told me to go home as i all are okay then pick my visa when i get text or call from them.

Thank you Lord!

That\'s the end! God is so good all the time! God bless for all next applicant! Just be confident and submit all to God cos we can have the victory through His name only...
See to it that you have all the needed documents before leaving home. Just bring all that you have there because it better to be over prepared that lacking.

God bless! be happy!!!!...Irene

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
