The process was very long and was shortly after 9-11 so that did cause some issues. I went ahead and did a lot of the work like the medical long before the interview to expedite the process which really did help (mailed Packet #3 out the day I received it). Do as much as you can before you need to and make a lot of copies of everything. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 151 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 230 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

Surprisingly enough they didn't check the three cats we took across the border either so it was pretty quick and painless.

I called and asked them what was up and they explained it and all was well.
